The Dry Whites 2007

A pretty cool year with sunny days though not too hot in September, allowed the grapes to ripen while retaining all their flavour and freshness. 5% Sauvignon brought a slight hint of citrus to the classic duo of Tirecul La Graviere, the much cited Semillon-Muscadelle. The harvests took place on the 19th flavoured grapes. The muscadelle from our limestone and north facing parcel of vines ‘La Carbonniere’ at the top of the slopes, enabled us to create the Cuvee Mademoiselle.

Mademoiselle 2007

Pure Muscadelle. A delicate floral fragrance characterises this magnificent, aromatic wine, seductive and innovative. As with all Tirecul La Graviere wines, in the mouth it is plump and round. You can profit from its extrovert character for between two and four years.

‘The new cuvee Muscadelle is beautiful and delicate, gaining in ampleur in its attack with spicy notes whilst maintaining freshness in its length’. Guide Gault et Millau 2009

Marguerite 2007

‘A nose of subtle aromas of fruit and flowers. Mature and open. Pure in the mouth, clean fresh and delicious. A superb wine of finesse and purity of fruit’. Guide Bettane & Desseauve 2009
