The liquoreux 2012

A sullen, brooding Spring delayed bud break. Then the rain began but a beautiful August helped achieve a good maturity in the vines. Botrytis appeared in September and October ready to evolve into noble rot. In fact we had at this time alternating humidity and ideal sun. In 2012 the harvest began on October 15 to October 25 with two select picks for certain parcels and three for the others. The grapes came in between 19.7 and 23.7 degrees. This vintage marked the achievement of our conversion to organic farming. From 2012 all our wines are certified ‘Organic Wines’.
