The liquoreux 2010

The summer was hot and sunny as in 2009, but the nights much cooler (4.9 deg celcius on August 31st!), allowing the grapes to conserve their acidity. A generous rain on the 8th September gave a boost to the ripening of the grapes. For the rest, bright sun continued into October. The grapes harvested had great richness and a freshness quite exceptional for this region. Three select picks from 18 October to 4 November allowed us to select, in a vintage reputed to be difficult, grapes between 21.5 and 25, thanks to the terroir of Tirecul La Graviere.

Les Pins 2010

A beautiful fine dessert wine with a long finish, a joy to experience.

‘Quite simply huge! Don’t hesitate for a half second if you find this bottle, for It’s worth more than the best Sauternes! This sumptuous wine of delicate vanilla on honey with roasted apricot and Mirabelle is not at all excessive on the mouth due to its acidity which balances the sweetness. Endless expanses of mango and vanilla on the finish. Excellent price/quality ratio’
